JAKARTA | INDATANEWS.COM – Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (Indosat or IOH) has started 2026 with a strong performance, recording double-digit growth across key financial indicators in the first quarter. The achievement is driven by a customer-centric strategy focused on AI-powered hyper-personalization, operational efficiency, and continuous investment in network and digital infrastructure.
Indosat recorded revenue of IDR 15.2 trillion in Q1 2026, marking the highest quarterly revenue in the company's history and representing a 12% year-on-year (YoY) increase.
EBITDA also rose by 13% to IDR 7.2 trillion, maintaining a stable margin. Net profit attributable to shareholders reached IDR 1.5 trillion, up 26% compared to the same period last year.

Mobile Business Strengthens, Data Usage Surges

Network Expansion and Digital Ecosystem GrowthIndosat continues to expand its 5G network to deliver faster and more stable connectivity. The company is also strengthening digital services such as HiFi Air, which offers flexible internet solutions.

Indosat has introduced AI-powered anti-spam and anti-scam features to better protect users.
Beyond connectivity, the company is expanding its digital ecosystem through initiatives such as the AI application Sahabat-AI, the NeoCloud infrastructure platform, and FiberCo, a strategic program to extend fiber-optic networks across Indonesia.
Digital Education in Aceh Supports Youth DevelopmentIn addition to business expansion, Indosat is actively supporting digital literacy programs in Aceh, focusing on artificial intelligence and cybersecurity education for junior and senior high school students.

Results showed that 96% of students had already used AI for learning and creativity, while 94% demonstrated improved understanding of digital safety, including anti-spam and anti-scam awareness.
"Data traffic in Sumatra grew by 35.6% YoY, reflecting increasing digital adoption in the region," Sinha added.
Indosat reaffirmed its commitment not only to providing connectivity but also to strengthening digital capabilities across Indonesian society.
