DELI SERDANG | INDATANEWS.COM - Deli Serdang Regent Asri Ludin Tambunan has officially sent off 27 young athletes from the Deli Serdang Inline Skate (DSIL) club to compete in the Pariaman Open 2026, scheduled to take place in Pariaman City, West Sumatra. The national-level competition will be held from July 2 to July 5, 2026, and is regarded as one of the most prestigious events in Indonesia's inline skating calendar.
The send-off ceremony was held at the North Sumatra Main Stadium in Batang Kuis District on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. The event followed the successful staging of the Tour de
Deli Serdang 2026, which previously attracted thousands of participants from various communities and regions both within and outside North Sumatra.
Strong Government Backing for Young Athletes
In a motivating atmosphere, Regent Asri Ludin Tambunan was personally present to encourage the young athletes. He emphasized the importance of fighting spirit, sportsmanship, and the responsibility of representing
Deli Serdang on the national stage. According to him, the athletes symbolize a young generation with strong sporting potential and promising future achievements.

"InsyaAllah, within this year we will build an inline skating track in Deli Serdang that can be used both by athletes and the public," said Asri Ludin.
