COMMUNITY MEAT DISTRIBUTION: The distribution of sacrificial meat by the Ki Hajar Dewantara Kotapinang Educational Foundation in Labuhanbatu Selatan takes place in a festive and communal atmosphere during Eid al-Adha 1447 H on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.

LABUHANBATU SELATAN | INDATANEWS.COM A strong spirit of solidarity and social responsibility marked the Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah celebration at the Ki Hajar Dewantara Kotapinang Educational Foundation. As part of the religious observance, the foundation slaughtered six cattle, with the meat distributed to residents and the wider school community.

The slaughtering process took place in a festive yet communal atmosphere at the Ki Hajar Dewantara Kotapinang Educational Foundation complex on Jalan Kampung Jawa, Kotapinang Subdistrict, Labuhanbatu Selatan Regency. The annual tradition reflects gratitude and a tangible commitment to social responsibility toward the surrounding community.

From early morning, the organizing committee worked closely with local residents to prepare the sacrifice process and subsequent meat distribution. Teachers, staff members, and community members actively participated, ensuring the event ran smoothly and efficiently.

Leadership Emphasizes Sincerity and Social Responsibility

Foundation Chairman H. Naga Parlaungan Lubis, S.Pd., M.Pd., together with foundation advisor Hj. Eriani Harahap, S.Pd., teachers, staff, and residents attended the event.

Parlaungan Lubis emphasized that Eid al-Adha is not only a religious ritual but also an opportunity to strengthen values of sincerity, sacrifice, and social responsibility.

"This Eid al-Adha teaches us sincerity, sacrifice, and the importance of sharing. Alhamdulillah, this year we were able to slaughter six cattle and distribute all the meat to the community and our school family," he said.

He further stressed that educational institutions carry a broader social responsibility beyond teaching and learning.

"Our foundation should not only be a place of education but also bring real benefits to society. May this activity bring blessings to all of us," he added.

One recipient, Annisa Siregar, expressed her gratitude for the foundation's continued social commitment.

"We are very grateful and appreciate the care shown by the foundation, which consistently supports the surrounding community every year. May Ki Hajar Dewantara Foundation continue to grow and may all those involved be blessed with health and prosperity," she said.
