LABUHANBATU SELATAN | INDATANEWS.COM – The Government of Labuhanbatu Selatan Regency held a vibrant Takbir Night celebration marking Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah at the Santun Berkata Bijak Berkarya (SBBK) building in Kotapinang on Wednesday evening, May 26, 2026. The event unfolded in a festive atmosphere and was highlighted by a colorful Takbir parade across the city.

Kotapinang. Hundreds of participants from various community groups took part, creating a lively and spirited celebration ahead of the Islamic holiday.
The event was attended by Labuhanbatu Selatan Regent Fery Sahputra Simatupang, Deputy Regent Syahdian Purba Siboro, representatives of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), Regional Secretary M. Reza Pahlevi Nasution, heads of regional work units (OPD), religious leaders, and invited guests.

The parade, officially opened by the regent and deputy regent, was accompanied by festive drumming performances (bedug) and illuminated parade vehicles. Thousands of residents lined the streets of
Kotapinang to witness the celebration.

A local resident, Fikri, expressed his appreciation for the event and the presence of regional leaders.
