ACEH SELATAN | INDATANEWS.COM - Aceh Deputy Governor Fadhlullah conducted a religious visit and dialogue tour to several Dayah institutions in South Aceh Regency on Sunday, July 19, 2026. The initiative is part of the Aceh Government's commitment to strengthening relations and cooperation with Ulama (Islamic scholars) and Dayah Islamic educational institutions as strategic partners in building an Aceh that is rooted in Islamic values, progressive, dignified, and sustainable.
The series of visits began with Fadhlullah's attendance at the Haul commemoration event honoring Abuya Sheikh H. Adnan Mahmud, also known as Nek Abu; Tgk. Sheikh H. Baidhawi Adnan, also known as Abati; and Tgk. Sheikh H. Marhaban Adnan, also known as Waled, at Dayah Ashhabul Yamin in Keude Bakongan,
South Aceh Regency.
The Haul event was led by Tgk. H. Ibnu Aqil Baidhawi, also known as Abu Muda, and was held in a solemn and respectful atmosphere. A large number of Ulama, students, alumni, and community members attended the event, which featured various religious activities including Quran recitations, Samadiah prayers, collective prayers, and a traditional communal meal.

Strengthening the Bond Between Government and Ulama
Following his participation in the Haul commemoration, Fadhlullah continued his visit to Dayah Himmatul 'Amal in Pasie Kuala Ba'u Village, North Kluet District. The Deputy Governor was warmly welcomed by the Dayah leader, Tgk. Muhibbut Thibri, along with students and local residents.
Afterward, Fadhlullah and his delegation visited Dayah Madinatuddiniyah Babussa'adah in Teupin Gajah Village, Pasie Raja District, which is led by Tgk. H. Erly Safriza, Lc.
The visit series concluded at Dayah Darul Ihsan Al-Waliyah in Pawoh Village, Labuhan Haji District,
South Aceh Regency, under the leadership of Abuya Sheikh H. Amran Waly Al-Khalidi.
During each visit, Fadhlullah held direct discussions with Dayah leaders, students, community figures, and residents. The meetings were aimed at deepening communication between the government and Ulama while also gathering public aspirations and concerns.
The issues raised included strengthening Dayah education, improving infrastructure development, supporting economic empowerment, and addressing other community needs.
These inputs will serve as a reference for the Aceh Government in formulating policies and development programs that are more targeted and aligned with the needs of the people.
Support Provided for Dayah Activities
As part of the visit and dialogue program, Fadhlullah also distributed assistance packages to several Dayah institutions he visited. The aid included sarongs, women's prayer garments, traditional head coverings, prayer mats, and Baju Koko.
The
Aceh Government hopes the assistance will help support religious activities and the educational process of students at Dayah institutions. The aid also represents the government's commitment and attention toward the continued development of Islamic educational institutions throughout Aceh.
The visit further highlights the Aceh Government's efforts to expand partnerships with Ulama and Dayah institutions as an important element in developing human resources.
Dayah institutions play a significant role in shaping character, improving religious education, and strengthening moral values among Aceh's younger generation. Therefore, the
Aceh Government continues to encourage stronger cooperation between government institutions and Ulama to promote Islamic Sharia values and moral education within society.

Dayah as Strategic Partners in Aceh's Development
Through this visit program, the Aceh Government reaffirmed that Ulama and Dayah educational institutions are strategic partners in implementing regional development. The development process is expected not only to focus on physical infrastructure but also on character building and improving the quality of human resources.
Fadhlullah expressed his hope that communication and cooperation between the government, Ulama, and the community will continue to be maintained effectively so that various development programs can be implemented efficiently and sustainably.
