ACEH TENGAH | INDATANEWS.COM - The Aceh Tengah Police are strengthening efforts to maintain security and public order (Kamtibmas) through a humanistic approach by conducting the Safari Subuh program. During the activity, police called on the public to pay closer attention to their children's activities and encourage responsible use of social media to prevent potential security and social issues.
The event, themed "Rabu Berkah," was held after the congregational Subuh prayer at Ar-Rahman Mosque, Simpang Empat Village, Bebesen District, Aceh Tengah Regency, on Wednesday, July 8, 2026. The activity was organized through collaboration between the State Islamic Institute of Takengon (IAIN Takengon), the Indonesian Mosque Council (DMI) of Aceh Tengah, and the
Aceh Tengah Police.
On the occasion, Aceh Tengah Police Chief Muhamad Taufiq, represented by the Head of the Planning Division (Kabag Ren) of Aceh Tengah Police, Commissioner Junaidi, S.H., M.S.M., delivered public security and order messages to worshippers. The message delivery was part of a joint effort to increase public awareness in creating a safe and peaceful environment.
Parents Hold Key Role in Monitoring Children's Activities
Commissioner Junaidi reminded parents to increase their attention toward their children's activities, particularly in the use of mobile phones and
social media platforms, which have become an inseparable part of everyday life.
According to him, technological development provides many benefits, but improper use can also trigger various social problems. Therefore, parents have an important role in guiding and supervising children so that technology can be used in a positive and responsible manner.
"Parents have an important role in monitoring their children's social interactions and their use of
social media. Use technology responsibly because misuse can create various problems and may even lead to criminal acts," he said.
He further explained that child supervision should not only focus on activities in the real world but also include interactions in the digital environment. Active parental guidance can prevent children from becoming involved in behaviors that may harm themselves or others.
In addition to families, the
Aceh Tengah Police also called on village administrations and all community elements to strengthen communication and coordination with Bhabinkamtibmas officers in addressing various issues that could disrupt public security.

Community Participation Needed to Maintain Regional Stability
Commissioner Junaidi emphasized that maintaining security and public order is not solely the responsibility of the police. Active participation from all levels of society is needed to create a safe, peaceful, and comfortable atmosphere.
He encouraged residents to remain aware of their surroundings, strengthen social relationships, and avoid being easily influenced by information on social media that has not been verified.
"We invite the entire community to work together in maintaining regional stability, using
social media responsibly, and increasing awareness of the environment and the younger generation so that Aceh Tengah remains safe, peaceful, and comfortable," he added.
Through the Safari Subuh program, the Aceh Tengah Police hope to continue strengthening partnerships between law enforcement and the community. This cooperation is considered an important factor in maintaining security stability throughout Aceh Tengah Regency.
The
Safari Subuh activity also served as a direct communication platform between police officers and residents. Through a religious approach and open dialogue, the
Aceh Tengah Police conveyed security messages while listening to public concerns regarding conditions in their respective areas.
