DELI SERDANG | INDATANEWS.COM – The Government of Deli Serdang Regency is providing free health services and data collection under the PAS JEMPOL program at all polling stations during the simultaneous Village Head Elections (Pilkades) held across 76 villages on Tuesday, June 2, 2026.
The initiative aims to bring healthcare services closer to the public while expanding the reach of PAS JEMPOL as an innovative mobile health service program.
Free Medical Checks for Voters
The local government has set up free health screening services at numerous polling stations, allowing residents to access medical care without interrupting their voting activities. Health teams are also collecting community data to strengthen the regional health database.
Sandra Dewi Situmorang, Head of the Communication, Information, Statistics, and Encryption Agency (Kominfostan) of Deli Serdang Regency, said the election moment is being utilized as an opportunity to expand public services.
"The simultaneous Pilkades is a very good moment to bring services closer to the community. Therefore, the Government of Deli Serdang provides free health checks and PAS JEMPOL data collection at all polling stations as a form of care for public health," Sandra said.
PAS JEMPOL Expands Healthcare Access
Sandra explained that the PAS JEMPOL program offers fast, simple, and integrated access to healthcare services. Mobile teams are also actively informing residents about available health programs in the region.
"PAS JEMPOL reflects the commitment of the Deli Serdang Government to deliver fast, easy, and precise public services. Through its presence at polling stations, citizens can not only vote but also access free health services," she added.
Strengthening Services to Rural Communities
The government continues to expand mobile services to reach remote areas and encourages residents to make full use of these facilities.
"We hope the community takes full advantage of this opportunity. The presence of PAS JEMPOL at polling stations is part of our mobile strategy to bring healthcare closer to the people," Sandra stated.
She also emphasized that the government is committed to continuously improving public service quality so that citizens can directly experience the benefits of government programs.
"Public services must be tangible for the people. That is why we ensure government programs are implemented effectively and reach citizens down to the village level," she concluded.
Voter participation was notably high in several polling stations. Residents not only exercised their voting rights in the simultaneous Pilkades but also welcomed the free health checks and information services provided through PAS JEMPOL. (IDNC)
