BANDA ACEH | INDATANEWS.COM - Thousands of supporters gathered at Sultan Iskandar Muda International Airport to warmly welcome T. Rival Amiruddin, Chairman of the Regional Leadership Council (DPW) of the Partai Solidaritas Indonesia (PSI) in Aceh. The enthusiastic reception was followed by a friendly gathering with party cadres, sympathizers, volunteers, and youth representatives, culminating in a convoy through the streets of Banda Aceh.
The large turnout is seen as a strong indication of growing public expectations for a new social and political direction in Aceh.
Tens of thousands of residents filled the airport area to greet Rival Amiruddin upon his arrival. The atmosphere quickly turned into an open dialogue between PSI members, supporters, volunteers, and local youth groups. The event continued with a motorcade across Banda Aceh, symbolizing solidarity and political enthusiasm.

PSI Aceh Pushes Clean and People-Oriented PoliticsIn his remarks, Rival Amiruddin expressed gratitude for the overwhelming welcome and emphasized the responsibility that comes with public trust.
"I thank the people of Aceh, PSI cadres, volunteers, community representatives, and everyone involved for this warm reception. This support carries a great responsibility, which we will answer through real work for the people of Aceh," Rival said on Monday, June 1, 2026.
He stressed that PSI Aceh aims to position itself as a political home for the people, committed to clean, transparent, and citizen-centered governance. The party seeks to build a modern political force that is inclusive, integrity-driven, and closely connected to the community to create a more advanced, prosperous, and competitive Aceh.
PSI Aceh's priorities include strengthening the local economy, empowering young people, developing micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), creating job opportunities, ensuring clean governance, and promoting equitable development across remote areas.

Kaesang: PSI Must Stay Close to the People

Kaesang Pangarep emphasized in his message that all cadres must remain active in society and deliver tangible benefits to the public, viewing politics as a form of public service.
"PSI must stand in the middle of society, listen to the people, and provide real solutions. Be cadres who work with integrity, serve sincerely, and prove that politics is a path of service for progress and prosperity," Kaesang stated in his directive to PSI cadres in Aceh.
He also called for PSI to become a political home for young people, MSME actors, farmers, fishermen, workers, and all citizens seeking progress and development.
Rival Amiruddin affirmed his commitment to strengthening organizational consolidation and expanding community participation in regional development.
"We are ready to develop
PSI Aceh into a strong, united organization that is valued by the people. We will listen to public aspirations and implement policies that prioritize people's welfare," he concluded.
