LABUHANBATU SELATAN | INDATANEWS.COM – The Traffic Unit (Satlantas) of the Labuhanbatu Selatan Police carried out a public outreach initiative through the "Polantas Menyapa" program and a mobile counseling campaign (Penling) at a traditional market area. The activity aims to strengthen a humanistic and dialogue-based traffic culture among road users.
The program was conducted on Monday, May 25, 2026, at the Pajak Inpres area in Kotapinang Subdistrict, Labuhanbatu Selatan. The initiative primarily targeted motorcyclists and street vendors operating in the busy market environment.

traffic regulations to ensure shared safety on the road.
Riders were reminded to drive responsibly, wear SNI-certified helmets, and carry valid documents such as a driver's license (SIM) and vehicle registration (STNK) at all times.

Authorities stressed that maintaining order in high-traffic public areas is essential to preventing congestion and accidents.

Traders also welcomed guidance aimed at improving traffic conditions around the market.
The dialogue-based approach implemented by Satlantas Polres Labuhanbatu Selatan is considered effective in strengthening public trust and improving traffic awareness through direct engagement.
Police hope the program will further improve discipline among road users and reduce traffic violations and accidents in Labuhanbatu Selatan Regency.
