LABUHANBATU SELATAN | INDATANEWS.COM – The Labuhanbatu Selatan Police have launched a public claim procedure for residents seeking to recover their stolen motorcycles and cars after 18 vehicles were secured in a recent theft investigation within the jurisdiction.
Authorities confirmed that a total of 18 vehicles have been confiscated during an ongoing investigation into a
vehicle theft syndicate. The units include both cars and motorcycles, currently being held at the Kampung Rakyat Police Station for identification and verification purposes.
Among the recovered vehicles are a Daihatsu Sigra, Honda CR-V, Honda PCX, Honda Scoopy, Honda Supra X, Yamaha N-Max, and Yamaha Filano, along with several other units bearing different license plates.

"This is an opportunity for the public. We are opening access as widely as possible so that the secured vehicles can be returned to their rightful owners," AKP Muhammad Ilham Lubis said.

Police revealed that isolated roads and plantation areas in
Labuhanbatu Selatan are frequently targeted by thieves due to limited surveillance. Offenders often take advantage of unattended parking areas before transporting
stolen vehicles to other regions or dismantling them for resale in parts.
AKP Muhammad Ilham Lubis emphasized that the investigation not only focuses on apprehending suspects but also prioritizes returning the vehicles to their rightful owners.
