Mayor Rico Tri Putra Bayu Waas delegated M. Sofyan, Assistant for Government and Welfare at the Medan City Regional Secretariat, to officially represent the administration at the event.

The exercise was held at the Belawan Port Police Headquarters and involved police units along with various stakeholders. The simulation was led by Deputy Chief of Police of Pelabuhan Belawan, Kompol Dedy Dharma, aiming to enhance the readiness of security forces in handling potential public order disturbances.

Medan Reaffirms Security Commitment

The Medan City Government emphasized its strong support for the development of integrated urban security systems. Through its official participation, the administration highlighted that the Sispamkota simulation serves as a crucial instrument for improving inter-agency coordination and maintaining regional stability.

Police Emphasize Rapid and Coordinated Response

Kompol Dedy Dharma stressed the importance of full operational readiness among all personnel in responding to potential security disruptions. He underlined that standardized emergency procedures must be well understood to ensure swift and controlled responses to dynamic situations.

Worker Protest Scenario Tests Readiness

As part of the simulation, officials enacted a scenario involving a group of workers protesting against a termination decision. The situation escalated as parts of the crowd became increasingly unrestful and displayed violent behavior.
