BATAM | INDATANEWS.COM ~ A Toyota Avanza overturned on Saturday morning (April 11, 2026) on Jalan Hasanuddin, Tunas Prima area, Kabil Village, Nongsa District, causing temporary traffic disruption.
The silver vehicle, bearing license plate BP 1876 IF, reportedly lost control after experiencing a tire blowout while in motion. The incident occurred at approximately 10:25 a.m. WIB.

The prompt report enabled a rapid response from authorities. Supervising officer Ipda Wirpatman, along with standby personnel and a patrol unit from Nongsa Police Station, arrived swiftly at the scene. Officers immediately carried out initial response measures and coordinated with the traffic accident unit of Barelang Police.

Tire Blowout Confirmed as Cause of AccidentBased on statements from witnesses and the driver, Yulianti, the accident occurred around 10:20 a.m. WIB. A blowout in the front left tire caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle.
The car subsequently overturned and partially blocked the roadway, significantly disrupting traffic flow. Emergency responders secured the area and evacuated the driver from the vehicle.
Fortunately, no fatalities or injuries were reported in the incident.

Traffic Restored Quickly After Police InterventionIn addition to the evacuation process, officers also managed traffic at the scene, allowing conditions to return to normal shortly afterward.
Authorities carried out a series of procedures, including securing the accident site, coordinating with traffic police, questioning witnesses, documenting the incident, and reporting to superiors.
Overall, the operation was conducted efficiently and professionally, ensuring the situation remained under control.
