The swift deployment ensured the situation was quickly brought under control.
Quick Response to 110 Emergency CallOn Friday, April 10, 2026, seven officers were immediately dispatched as part of the "Batara Biru Baja" routine patrol operation aimed at maintaining public security and order. The police acted promptly after receiving reports of a potential threat in the area of Tanjung Uma.

Incident Chronology in Tanjung UmaUpon arrival at the scene, officers found a dispute between the complainant and the reported individual. Initial findings suggested that the argument escalated into a suspected threat involving a sharp object.
Police personnel intervened in a de-escalation effort, bringing both parties together to reduce tensions on site. The complainant, Kamarudin, who also serves as a local neighborhood head (RT leader), experienced psychological distress during the incident. However, no physical injuries were reported, and the situation was successfully stabilized.

Police Take Both Parties for Further Examination
To ensure proper legal processing, both parties were taken to the
Lubuk Baja Police Station for further investigation and clarification. Authorities will continue to examine the case to determine the appropriate legal steps.
Lubuk Baja Police Chief, Kompol Deni Langie, emphasized his unit's rapid response capability. He stated that the police remain committed to responding quickly, accurately, and professionally to every report in order to maintain public safety.
The police also urged the public to continue using the 110 emergency hotline to report potential security disturbances early, helping to maintain stability across the region.
