BATAM | INDATANEWS.COM ~ Officers from the Batam Kota Police Station (Polsek Batam Kota) responded promptly to a domestic dispute reported in the Bukit Indah Sukajadi residential area, Batam Kota, Riau Islands, on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 12:30 a.m.
Police units and relevant teams immediately arrived at the scene to stabilize the situation and provide maximum support to residents.

Batam Kota acted without delay after receiving a 110 emergency call. The first report came from Mr. Riadian, who alerted authorities to a domestic altercation in their jurisdiction. Upon receiving the report, officers were dispatched immediately to handle the incident efficiently.
At the scene, personnel from the Pamapta Polresta Barelang, Batara Biru patrol team, and the Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Reskrim) conducted a situation assessment and mediated between the parties involved. Officers on duty included Aiptu Donny, Aipda Yohanes, and Brigpol D. Dores.

Police intervened to de-escalate tensions, provided guidance on public order and safety, and successfully prevented any harm. No injuries or property damage occurred. The woman intends to file an official report with Polresta Barelang.
