BATAM | INDATANEWS.COM ~ Batam Prison carried out a large-scale joint raid, urine testing, and evidence destruction on Monday, April 6, 2026. The operation marked the 62nd anniversary of Hari Bakti Pemasyarakatan, under the theme "Concrete Correctional Work with Excellent Service," in collaboration with the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), police, and Batam's National Narcotics Agency (BNN).

Synergy Among Law Enforcement AgenciesBatam Prison worked closely with local law enforcement, including the TNI, police, and BNN, to combat drug use and enhance security within the facility. The raids and evidence destruction were conducted simultaneously across all correctional units (UPT Pemasyarakatan) in Indonesia, demonstrating a nationwide commitment to safe and controlled prison environments.
