ACEH TENGAH | INDATANEWS.COM - Three officers from the Samapta Unit of the Aceh Tengah Police conducted a Patroli Perintis Presisi Kota patrol on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, monitoring several locations with high levels of public activity. The patrol began at 9:00 p.m. Western Indonesia Time and covered several fuel stations, the banking district, and commercial areas.
Using an Isuzu D-Max patrol vehicle, the officers monitored the security situation while ensuring that public activities remained orderly. The personnel inspected SPBU Simpang Lemah Burbana, SPBU Jalan Lintang, Bank Aceh Cabang, and Grosir Berkah in the Inpres Market area.
The patrol formed part of the police's preventive efforts to prevent potential disturbances to public security and order, known in Indonesia as Kamtibmas. The measure was particularly important during nighttime hours, when several locations continued to attract significant numbers of residents.
Police Monitor Fuel Distribution
During checks at SPBU Simpang Lemah Burbana and SPBU Jalan Lintang, officers from the Aceh Tengah Police Samapta Unit directly monitored fuel distribution, commonly referred to in Indonesia as BBM. At the same time, they observed the areas surrounding the fuel stations to ensure that operations proceeded in an orderly manner and that no security problems emerged.
During inspections at both locations, officers found no vehicle queues with the potential to cause security disturbances. They also found no indications of irregularities in
fuel distribution throughout the patrol.
The police presence at the fuel stations also served to monitor residents purchasing fuel. Officers ensured that members of the public could access fuel supplies under safe and orderly conditions.
Monitoring
fuel distribution was one of the patrol's priorities because a smooth energy supply is directly connected to the daily activities of the community. For that reason, officers did not limit their duties to observing the security situation but also engaged in conversations with people in the surrounding areas.
After completing the inspections at the fuel stations, the patrol proceeded toward the banking district. Officers checked the area around Bank Aceh Cabang to ensure that security conditions remained safe during nighttime hours, after regular banking operations had ended.
The personnel inspected the area surrounding the bank building and monitored developments on the ground. The measure was intended to identify potential security risks at an early stage, including suspicious activities that could endanger members of the public or banking facilities.

Patrols Continue at High-Activity Locations
The patrol then continued to Grosir Berkah in the Inpres Market area. There, officers monitored public activities while also engaging directly with residents.
Communication between police officers and the community is an important component of preventive patrols. Through direct dialogue, officers can obtain information about the security situation in the surrounding area while encouraging residents to work together to maintain public order and safety.
The personnel also inspected several areas requiring particular attention. Police officers ensured that no activities were identified during the patrol that could indicate a disturbance of public security and order, or Kamtibmas.
The results of the patrol showed that conditions at all inspected locations remained safe and stable. Officers found no criminal activity, gang-related disturbances, illegal street racing, drug abuse, or other forms of security disruption.
As a result, public activities at the monitored locations generally proceeded in an orderly manner. Nevertheless, police continued their inspections as a preventive measure against potential security problems.
The
Aceh Tengah Police continue to apply a preventive approach to maintaining public security. Patrols are not only intended to respond to disturbances that have already occurred but also to prevent potential problems through a direct police presence among the community.

Samapta Chief: Patrols Focus on Prevention
Aceh Tengah Police Chief AKBP Teguh Siswoyo, S.H., S.I.K., M.H., through Samapta Unit Chief IPTU Misbah, said that the presence of police officers in the field was part of the public service provided to the community.
"This patrol is a preventive effort to prevent security disturbances while providing a sense of safety to the community. We are also ensuring that
fuel distribution runs in an orderly manner and that there are no irregularities that could harm the public," Misbah said.
According to Misbah, public support for police patrols is also very important. Residents play an important role in maintaining security in their surroundings because they have direct access to daily activities in their respective residential and working environments.
Therefore, police urged residents to immediately report information to the authorities if they encounter activities that could potentially disrupt public security and order. Information from the community can help officers take preventive measures more quickly.
In addition to maintaining security, regular patrols also serve to strengthen relations between the police and the community. The presence of officers at various locations is expected to increase residents' sense of security while encouraging them to contribute to maintaining order in their respective surroundings.
