CENTRAL ACEH | INDATANEWS.COM - Police have strengthened security monitoring at several locations considered to be centers of public activity in Central Aceh Regency. Four officers from the Satuan Samapta Unit of the Central Aceh Police conducted checks at several locations on Saturday, September 12, 2026, using service motorcycles as part of the Patroli Perintis Presisi Kota operation.
The patrol took officers to several strategically important locations, including the Nunang Antara and Simpang Lemah fuel stations, the SPPG MBG Dapur Polres
Aceh Tengah, Toko Mas Mulia Baru, and the Alfitrah Pier. The officers did not merely pass through the locations. They dismounted, conducted direct security checks, engaged with residents, and ensured that activities were carried out in an orderly and safe manner.
The measure forms part of the police's preventive efforts to maintain public security and order, known in Indonesia as Kamtibmas. Through a direct presence among the community, police aim to identify potential security disturbances at an early stage.
Police Monitor Fuel Distribution
At the Nunang Antara and Simpang Lemah fuel stations, Satuan Samapta officers monitored fuel distribution. They also paid attention to vehicle queues to ensure that applicable regulations were followed and that no crowding occurred that could disrupt the smooth running of activities.
The monitoring also served as a preventive measure against various potential disturbances, including disorderly queues, fuel hoarding, and other security issues that could arise around fuel stations.
The presence of officers at the locations also provided an opportunity for direct interaction with residents. Through these conversations, officers were able to assess conditions on the ground more effectively while providing guidance on how public order could be maintained collectively during ongoing activities.
After checking the fuel stations, the patrol continued to the SPPG MBG Dapur Polres
Aceh Tengah. There, officers ensured that the services provided could be carried out safely and smoothly. The monitoring was conducted to support the uninterrupted implementation of activities while maintaining a calm and orderly environment.

Dialogue with Residents Takes Center Stage
The patrol then proceeded to Toko Mas Mulia Baru and Alfitrah Pier. Officers assessed the security situation at both locations and spoke with residents carrying out their activities there.
During the discussions, police officers provided guidance on maintaining
public security and order. They urged residents to work together to safeguard their surroundings and immediately notify police if they encountered situations that could potentially lead to security disturbances.
Dialogue is an important part of the patrol operation. Police are not only present as a security force conducting checks but are also strengthening direct communication with the community. This approach is intended to make it easier for residents to share information about security conditions in their respective areas with the police.
Central Aceh Police Chief AKBP Teguh Siswoyo, S.H., S.I.K., M.H., through the Head of the
Satuan Samapta, IPTU Misbah, said the patrol was part of preventive measures taken by police to maintain security during public activities.
"Officers monitor the situation directly on the ground while also strengthening dialogue with the community. The presence of police is intended to help prevent potential disturbances at an early stage," he said.
According to him, conducting patrols directly enables officers to monitor developments at several locations with high levels of public activity. The presence of personnel is also expected to strengthen the community's sense of security and encourage residents to work together to maintain public order.

Satuan Samapta of the
Central Aceh Police to prevent potential disturbances to
public security and order at an early stage. Through regular on-site checks, preventive measures can be taken before a potential disturbance develops into a larger problem.
By the end of the patrol, all locations inspected by officers from the Satuan Samapta of the Central Aceh Police were deemed safe, orderly, and calm. Police ensured that public activities at various facilities could continue without security disturbances.
