In addition to security concerns, the meeting also addressed inmate care. Such assistance is an important part of the correctional process, as it aims to support inmates through a proper rehabilitation process and prepare them to return to society.

The police and Ditjenpas also share a common interest in preventing security disturbances that could affect the overall security situation in Jambi City. For this reason, information sharing and coordination between the two institutions must continue to be carried out effectively.

"Several strategic issues were discussed during this meeting, ranging from the security of correctional and detention facilities, inmate care, to combating drug trafficking in correctional facilities. We hope this cooperation can continue to be strengthened so that we can provide the best possible service to the community," the police chief said.
