PIDIE | INDATANEWS.COM - Pidie Police Chief AKBP Jaka Mulyana, S.I.K., M.I.K., continues to strengthen efforts to build a disciplined, professional, and integrity-driven police organization. The commitment was demonstrated through the direct inspection of registered police firearms (Senpi) at the Pidie Police Headquarters, along with a firm warning to all personnel to stay away from online gambling activities (Judol).

AKBP Jaka Mulyana personally led the inspection of service firearms at the Pidie Police Headquarters on Tuesday, July 21, 2026. The activity was accompanied by senior officials (PJU) of the Pidie Police and formed part of internal supervision measures to ensure the operational readiness and discipline of police personnel.

The inspection was conducted to ensure that all service firearms were properly secured, supported by complete administrative records, and used only by qualified personnel in accordance with applicable regulations.

Ensuring Proper Firearm Management

During the inspection, AKBP Jaka Mulyana directly examined the storage facility for registered firearms belonging to the Pidie Police. The police chief also checked personnel who are authorized to carry or have been assigned service firearms.

The inspection covered firearm storage conditions, completeness of administrative documentation, and compliance with regulations governing the use of official weapons. These steps are part of the Pidie Police's efforts to maintain security and prevent potential misuse of firearms by police personnel.

AKBP Jaka Mulyana emphasized that service firearm inspections are conducted regularly as part of the organization's internal supervision system.

"Firearm inspections are a routine task as a form of internal oversight to ensure safe storage, complete administration, and the readiness of personnel in carrying out their duties," AKBP Jaka Mulyana stated.

According to him, supervision of official assets, particularly firearms, is an important element in supporting professional and responsible police service.

Officers Urged to Maintain Integrity and Avoid Online Gambling

In addition to inspecting firearms, the Pidie Police Chief once again reminded all personnel to uphold integrity and avoid various forms of disciplinary violations, including involvement in online gambling.

AKBP Jaka Mulyana stated that online gambling could have negative consequences for officers' personal lives and damage the public image of the Indonesian National Police (Polri). Therefore, he urged all personnel to control their behavior and uphold the values of discipline and professionalism while performing their duties.

"Maintain your integrity and avoid all forms of violations, including online gambling, which can harm discipline, the reputation of the institution, and public trust in the police," AKBP Jaka Mulyana emphasized.

He reminded officers that every police member carries a moral responsibility to protect the good name of the institution and serve as a positive example for the community.
