ACEH TENGAH | INDATANEWS.COM - The Polres Aceh Tengah Police Department held an official handover ceremony (Serah Terima Jabatan/Sertijab) involving five senior and precinct-level officers as part of an internal organizational renewal aimed at strengthening institutional performance and improving public service quality. The ceremony took place on Thursday afternoon, June 18, 2026, at the Aceh Tengah Police Headquarters and was led by Police Chief AKBP Muhamad Taufiq, S.I.K., M.H.
The personnel reshuffle is part of the Indonesian National Police's ongoing organizational dynamics, designed to support career development while enhancing operational efficiency. Amid increasingly complex security challenges, the move is also intended to refresh leadership structures and optimize institutional readiness.
The event was attended by several key officials, including Deputy Police Chief Kompol Samsir, S.H., division heads, section chiefs, precinct commanders, and members of the Bhayangkari organization of Aceh Tengah.

Leadership Refresh to Strengthen Institutional PerformanceSeveral key positions were officially reassigned during the ceremony. The logistics division leadership was transferred from AKP Radius Sianturi, who retired from service, to AKP Akup Gaja. Meanwhile, the Traffic Unit leadership shifted from Iptu Aiyub, S.E. to Iptu Rerit Oktafiandi, S.Tr.K., S.I.K., CPHR.
The Narcotics Unit (Resnarkoba) also saw a leadership change, with AKP Fakhrurrazi, S.Si., MSM handing over command to Iptu Bambang Hari Hermansyah Putra Pelis, S.H., M.H.
At the precinct level, the Lut Tawar Police Sector leadership transitioned from AKP Ismail Muda Daulay to Iptu Bohari, while the Celala Police Sector was transferred from Ipda Fauzul Ilmi, S.H. to Ipda Afrizalsyah, S.H.
The ceremony proceeded in a structured and formal manner, beginning with the reading of the official decree from the Aceh Regional Police Chief, followed by the oath-taking of newly appointed officers. The officials then signed official handover documents and integrity pacts before receiving their symbolic insignia of office.

Police Chief Emphasizes Adaptation and InnovationIn his remarks,
AKBP Muhamad Taufiq stated that personnel rotations are a normal and strategic part of police organizational management, aimed at developing human resources and improving productivity.
"Transfers are part of personnel development to enhance performance and provide new experiences for officers in their respective responsibilities," he said.
He further emphasized that security conditions and public expectations continue to evolve rapidly, requiring police officers to remain adaptive, professional, solution-oriented, and highly integrity-driven.
Innovation and New Momentum in Service DeliveryAccording to the Police Chief, every personnel change is expected not only to bring structural adjustments but also to generate new ideas and innovations to improve public service delivery.
He also underlined the importance of maintaining public order and security (Kamtibmas) within the jurisdiction of
Polres Aceh Tengah.

Appreciation for Outgoing Officers and Expectations for New AppointeesAKBP Taufiq expressed his appreciation to outgoing officers for their dedication and loyal service, particularly highlighting AKP Radius Sianturi, who retired after years of service.
"I extend my gratitude for your dedication and contribution to the Aceh Tengah Police," he said.
Newly appointed officers were urged to quickly adapt to their new roles and understand the characteristics of their respective operational areas. They were also encouraged to strengthen cooperation with local communities, religious leaders, traditional figures, and local government authorities.
Strengthening Public TrustThe Police Chief emphasized that collaboration and innovation are key to strengthening public trust in the police institution. Each new leader is expected to contribute to improving public service quality.
