BANDA ACEH | INDATANEWS.COM - The Government of Aceh Province recorded a significant improvement in bureaucratic reform performance in 2025. The Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (Kementerian PANRB) reported that Aceh's Bureaucratic Reform Index (Indeks Reformasi Birokrasi/RB) rose to 82.73 points, earning an A- rating. This marks an increase from 79.69 points in the previous year, which was categorized as BB.
The improvement reflects enhanced governance quality and more optimized public service delivery across the Aceh provincial administration.
Strengthening Governance and Administrative Performance
Aceh Regional Secretary M. Nasir said the achievement resulted from the collective efforts of all regional government agencies in consistently implementing bureaucratic reform programs.
"Alhamdulillah, the evaluation from Kementerian PANRB shows an improvement in Aceh's Bureaucratic Reform Index. This serves as motivation for us to continue making governance more effective, accountable, and responsive to public needs," Nasir stated.
He added that the
Aceh government remains committed to continuously improving its administrative system to ensure faster and more responsive public services.

Improvements Across Key Strategic Indicators
According to an official letter from the Deputy for Bureaucratic Reform, Accountability, and Oversight at
Kementerian PANRB (No. B/23/RB.06/2026 dated April 10, 2026), Aceh's General RB score increased from 69.04 in 2024 to 70.99 in 2025. The RB Thematic score also improved from 10.65 to 11.74.
These gains contributed to the overall Reform Index of 82.73, placing Aceh in the A- category.
Aceh also recorded positive progress in several key indicators, including a development planning index of 91.20%, archival digitalization reaching 91.60%, a public service index of 91%, service standard compliance at 86%, and an electronic government system (SPBE) index of 80.33%. In addition, the provincial government once again achieved an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) audit result from the Audit Board of Indonesia with a 100% success rate.

Sustainable Reform and Future Commitments
Despite the positive results, Nasir emphasized that the achievements should serve as a foundation for further improvement.
Kementerian PANRB provided several recommendations, including strengthening the SPBE system, improving complaint management, enhancing risk management, optimizing policy quality, and accelerating the development of integrity zones within government institutions.
"We will implement all recommendations from Kementerian PANRB. This evaluation is not just an assessment, but an important instrument to ensure that bureaucratic reform truly improves the quality of public services and public welfare in Aceh," Nasir said.
He reaffirmed the government's commitment to strengthening the BerAKHLAK work culture, accelerating digital transformation, and enhancing civil servant integrity.
Kementerian PANRB also praised Aceh's progress and urged consistent implementation of all recommendations to ensure sustainable improvements in administrative quality. (IDNC)
