BATAM | INDATANEWS.COM – The Class IIA Batam Correctional Facility held a solemn ceremony on Tuesday, May 20, 2026, to commemorate the 118th National Awakening Day (Hari Kebangkitan Nasional). The event took place at the facility's main courtyard and was attended by both staff members and inmates in a respectful and orderly atmosphere.
The ceremony was led by a structural official from Lapas Batam serving as the ceremony inspector. The proceedings ran in an orderly manner, beginning with a general salute followed by the reading of the official speech from the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.
Under the theme "Preserve the Seeds of the Nation for State Sovereignty," the message emphasized the importance of national unity amid rapid digital transformation.
