BANDA ACEH | INDATANEWS.COM – Aceh Governor Muzakir Manaf has once again earned national recognition after being named Top Pembina BUMD 2026 at the prestigious Top BUMD Awards 2026. The ceremony was held on April 13, 2026, at Raffles Hotel Jakarta.
The award highlights the Aceh Provincial Government's strong commitment to fostering and strengthening regionally owned enterprises (BUMD) as a key pillar of local economic growth. This achievement was further supported by the outstanding performance of PT BPR Syariah Mustaqim Aceh (Perseroda), which secured the highest distinction as a Five-Star BPRS in the same event.

Aceh Government Spokesperson Kamaruzzaman emphasized that the provincial administration consistently promotes professional, transparent, and people-oriented management of BUMD.
"This award proves that our efforts to guide and develop BUMD are on the right track. It is not merely about recognition, but about how these enterprises contribute directly to public welfare," he said.

Top BUMD Awards 2026 brought together approximately 1,600 regional credit institutions (BPR and BPRS) from across Indonesia. Participants underwent a comprehensive and stringent evaluation process, including corporate performance analysis, document verification, and interviews conducted by an independent panel of judges.
Expanding BUMD Role for SME Development
Kamaruzzaman further stated that the Aceh Government will continue to expand the role of BUMD, particularly in supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and strengthening the real sector as the backbone of the
regional economy.
"Moving forward, we will encourage innovation and expansion within BUMD so they can adapt to dynamic changes while meeting the needs of the community," he said.
