JAKARTA | INDATANEWS.COM - The Indonesian Ministry of Manpower (Kementerian Ketenagakerjaan) has urged all participants in the MagangHub Batch 2 Angkatan II program to maintain proper administrative procedures and discipline from the first day of their internship. According to the ministry, proper administration is an important part of ensuring that the internship program is implemented in accordance with applicable regulations while enabling participants to exercise their rights and fulfill their obligations throughout their placement.
The ministry emphasized that administrative discipline is not limited to ensuring the completeness of documents at the beginning of the program. Participants are also required to consistently fulfill various administrative obligations throughout the internship. They are therefore expected to understand the applicable procedures and use the official platforms provided to support the implementation of the program.
The Director General of Vocational Training and Productivity (Binalavotas) at the Ministry of Manpower, Darmawansyah, reminded participants not to neglect administrative obligations directly related to the internship process.
"Every internship participant is required to activate their
SIAPKerja account, maintain proper digital attendance records, and regularly upload their logbooks and daily reports to the
MagangHub platform," Darmawansyah said on Monday, September 21, 2026, during an orientation and briefing session for
MagangHub Batch 2 Angkatan II participants.
According to Darmawansyah, complying with the prescribed procedures from the outset will help participants complete every stage of the program in an orderly manner. Participants must also ensure that all activities carried out during their internship are documented through the system designated by the Ministry of Manpower.
Four Administrative Tasks on the First Day
On the first day of the internship, the Ministry of Manpower requires participants to immediately complete four important administrative steps. First, participants must sign an official internship agreement. The document serves as the basis for the internship arrangement between the participants and the program organizer or the company where they undertake their internship.
Participants must then register their personal bank account number. The account details are required for the administrative processing of the allowance provided to participants during their participation in the
MagangHub program.
In addition, participants must install the JMO, or Jamsostek Mobile, application. The application supports the activation of membership in BPJS Ketenagakerjaan and provides participants with access to employment social security protection during their internship.
As the fourth step, participants must join the official
MagangHub WhatsApp communication channel. The
Ministry of Manpower uses the channel to provide participants with regular information and updates regarding the program.
By using the official communication channel, participants can receive the latest information on the implementation of their internship. They can also monitor changes and important announcements without having to rely on information from unofficial sources.
The
Ministry of Manpower considers administrative discipline an integral part of the conduct expected from participants throughout the program. In addition to supporting smooth program administration, digital documentation of activities also provides a record of participants' work and activities during their internship.
Therefore, according to the ministry, simply being present at the workplace is not enough. Participants must also ensure that their attendance, logbooks, and daily reports are regularly recorded through the designated platforms.

Manpower Ministry Facilitates Access to Competency Certification
In addition to providing practical work experience, the
Ministry of Manpower also offers participants who complete the entire
internship program support for professional
competency certification. This gives participants an opportunity to have the competencies they acquire during their internship formally recognized.
The Ministry of Manpower organizes this certification support through Professional Certification Bodies (Lembaga Sertifikasi Profesi/LSP) licensed by the National Professional Certification Agency (Badan Nasional Sertifikasi Profesi/BNSP). Through this mechanism, participants can undergo the certification process through institutions authorized to conduct professional certification in accordance with applicable regulations.
Participants can access the certification process through the
MagangHub website in an integrated manner. The process includes registration, selection of an LSP, selection of a certification scheme according to the relevant competency field, and implementation of the competency assessment.
This integration provides participants who wish to complement their internship experience with formal proof of competence with a clearer pathway. At the same time, they must select a certification scheme relevant to their respective internship fields so that the competencies assessed correspond to the experience and skills acquired during the program.
Darmawansyah explained that
competency certification could provide participants with an important foundation when entering the labor market. The experience gained during the internship can be complemented by proof of competency recognized in accordance with national regulations.
"With BNSP-licensed professional competency certification, participants will not only complete the program with practical work experience but will also have recognized proof of competency to strengthen their ability to compete in the global labor market," Darmawansyah said.

MagangHub Strengthens Preparation for the World of Work
The statement underscores that
MagangHub is not solely focused on participants' experience within a professional working environment. The program also gives participants an opportunity to strengthen their preparation for the workforce through the development of discipline, systematic documentation of their activities, and the enhancement of demonstrable competencies.
The Ministry of Manpower expects participants to make full use of all facilities and support available throughout the program. They are expected to consistently fulfill their administrative obligations while completing every stage of the internship program in accordance with applicable regulations.
Discipline from the first day is an important factor in enabling participants to complete the program. By fulfilling administrative requirements, properly recording attendance, regularly maintaining logbooks and daily reports, and using official communication channels, participants can contribute to the smooth implementation of the program.
The opportunity for competency certification also provides participants with an additional foundation after completing their internship. Work experience and formal proof of competency can become part of their preparation for their subsequent career paths and help them respond to the demands of an ever-changing labor market.
Thus,
MagangHub Batch 2 Angkatan II is not only an opportunity for participants to become familiar with the world of work and gain practical experience in a real working environment. The program also promotes administrative discipline and supports participants in further strengthening and formally demonstrating their competencies.
