DELI SERDANG | INDATANEWS.COM ~ The inspection began at the Puskesmas Pembantu (Pustu) Tumpatan on Jalan Bakaran Batu, Kecamatan Beringin, Deli Serdang, North Sumatra. During the visit, Regent Asri Ludin Tambunan assessed medical services and the implementation of the "Pelayanan Pas Jempol" program.
He also directed that all
Pustu establish family medicinal plant gardens (TOGA) to promote community health education.
"I demand that every Pustu has a TOGA. This is crucial for education and the use of medicinal plants within the community," emphasized Asri Ludin.

Pustu Pasar V Kebun Kelapa, he called for the installation of frames on certain parts of the buildings to improve aesthetics.
"Health facilities represent public services. If they look neglected, how can the public trust the services?" he said.

School Visits: Optimizing Facilities
Following the
Pustu inspections, Regent Asri Ludin visited SD Negeri 105348 in the same village. He praised the school principal, Seniyem, for the rapid renovation of the school canteen.
"This is a positive example. We expect such prompt action. I urge the school to complete renovations quickly," he said.

Expanding Classrooms at SMP

With high demand and limited capacity, Asri Ludin called for the construction of three new classrooms and additional toilets within this year.
He also approved the construction of an auditorium and the conversion of the sports field into a futsal court to maximize student use.
"We support the construction of the auditorium and the redesign of the sports field so that students can make the best use of the facilities," he stressed.
