DELI SERDANG | INDATANEWS.COM - Bandar Khalipah Village in Percut Sei Tuan District took part in the 2026 evaluation of villages and urban communities implementing the Child and Adolescent Parenting and Care Program (Pola Asuh Anak dan Remaja/PAAR) on Monday, August 24, 2026. The evaluation was conducted by the North Sumatra Provincial Board of the Family Welfare and Empowerment Movement (TP PKK). The event marked an important moment in efforts to strengthen parenting and care for children and adolescents amid the rapid development of digital technology.
Deli Serdang Deputy Regent Lom Lom Suwondo SS, together with TP PKK Adviser I Asniar Lom Lom Suwondo, attended the evaluation. The Deli Serdang Regency Government is relying on close cooperation between village administrations, TP PKK, volunteer cadres, relevant agencies and the community to create a safe environment and support the healthy development of children and adolescents.
The evaluation conducted by the North Sumatra Provincial TP PKK focused not only on program implementation. Various innovations developed by the village administration, TP PKK, cadres and the community were also assessed. These innovations are an important part of efforts to address the challenges of raising and caring for children and adolescents in the digital era.
Bandar Khalipah Reaches Evaluation Stage
Bandar Khalipah Village entered the evaluation based on Deli Serdang Regent Decree No. 651 of 2025 concerning the determination of winners in the exemplary village and urban community competition for the implementation of the PKK's ten core programs. The decree serves as the basis for the village to advance to the evaluation stage of the Child and Adolescent Parenting and Care in the Digital Era program (Pola Asuh Anak dan Remaja di Era Digital/PAAREDI).
Lom Lom Suwondo said PAAREDI is one of the priority programs of Working Group I of TP PKK. The Deli Serdang Regency Government is strengthening its implementation through collaboration among various stakeholders so that families are able to properly guide and protect children and adolescents.
"Parenting and care for children and adolescents in the digital era is one of the priority programs of Working Group I of TP PKK. Its implementation is strengthened through collaboration among TP PKK, village administrations, the Office of Women's, Children's and Family Planning Protection (P3AP2KB), and relevant agencies to build families capable of guiding and protecting children," he said.
In Deli Serdang, PAAREDI implementation is based on six priority programs. They are KISAH (Keluarga Indonesia Sejahtera Harmonis – Harmonious and Prosperous Indonesian Families), KRISAN (Keluarga Sehat Tanpa Narkoba – Healthy Families Free from Drugs), KILAS (Keluarga Lindungi Anak dari Kekerasan Seksual – Families Protecting Children from Sexual Violence), KIAT (Keluarga Indonesia Anti Trafficking – Indonesian Families Against Trafficking), PKBN (Pembinaan Kesadaran Bela Negara – Development of National Defense Awareness), and KISAK (Keluarga Indonesia Sadar Administrasi Kependudukan – Indonesian Families Aware of Proper Population Administration).
The six programs are part of efforts to strengthen family resilience while increasing public awareness of child protection, family health, violence prevention, drug prevention, human trafficking prevention, national defense awareness and proper population administration.

Strengthening Sustainable Innovations
During the evaluation, Lom Lom Suwondo highlighted several innovations developed in
Bandar Khalipah Village, including GERMAS BULE, BERKOBAR ACI, BESTI ABAH, KEMBANG CIKAS and CINDAI KHALIPAH.
He said the various innovations reflected the involvement of the village administration, TP PKK, cadres and the community in creating an environment that supports the growth and development of children and adolescents.
"These various innovations demonstrate the concrete efforts of the village administration, TP PKK, cadres and the community to create an environment that supports the development of children and adolescents," he said.
He called on all stakeholders to continuously develop the various innovations so that their benefits can be felt directly by the community. The Deli Serdang Regency Government also hopes Bandar Khalipah can become a model for other villages in implementing family welfare and child protection programs.
"We hope Bandar Khalipah can become one of the best exemplary villages in Deli Serdang Regency and North Sumatra Province," he said.
This expectation is in line with the purpose of the evaluation, which is not merely to measure the success of program implementation. The evaluation process also provides an opportunity to identify strengths, recognize weaknesses and improve program implementation so that it increasingly meets the needs of the community.

TP PKK Strengthens Continuous Assistance
Deli Serdang TP PKK Chairwoman Jelita Asri Ludin Tambunan, through Deli Serdang P3AP2KB Head Alfian Siregar, said the evaluation could strengthen assistance while improving the quality of implementation of the PKK's ten core programs in the region.
"We are open to feedback, suggestions and guidance from the provincial evaluation team. This motivates us to continuously improve the quality of the PKK movement's work," he said.
In his view, feedback from the North Sumatra Provincial TP PKK evaluation team is an important component for the
Deli Serdang TP PKK in further improving program implementation. Continuous assistance is also necessary so that the programs are not implemented merely as administrative requirements but produce tangible impacts for families and the wider community.
Cutrizky Amaliyah, Head of the Family Character Development Division of the North Sumatra Provincial TP PKK, who represented North Sumatra TP PKK Chairwoman Kahiyang Ayu M Bobby Afif Nasution, also commended Bandar Khalipah for reaching the evaluation stage.
Cutrizky said the achievement was the result of hard work and cooperation between TP PKK, the regional government, the village administration and the community. She also stressed that the evaluation process should not be limited to assessment, but should contribute to improving the quality of assistance and developing new innovations.
"We hope Bandar Khalipah and Percut Sei Tuan District can serve as examples for other villages and districts in continuously implementing the PKK's ten core programs and ensuring they provide concrete benefits to the community," she said.

Bandar Khalipah Village was also attended by representatives of the North Sumatra Provincial TP PKK and
Deli Serdang TP PKK, the Deli Serdang National Narcotics Agency (BNN), the leadership of
Percut Sei Tuan District,
Bandar Khalipah Village officials, PKK cadres and community representatives.
The involvement of various government and community stakeholders demonstrates the importance of cooperation in implementing parenting and care programs for children and adolescents. Regional governments, TP PKK and the community must work together to develop a guidance and care system that can keep pace with changing times, particularly as children and adolescents increasingly come into contact with digital technology.
Through continuous evaluation and assistance, Bandar Khalipah is expected to preserve the various good practices it has developed while expanding their benefits. This step is part of efforts to build resilient families and create a safe environment for children and adolescents in Deli Serdang Regency.
