ACEH TENGAH | INDATANEWS.COM - The commemoration of the 81st Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia in Aceh Tengah Regency became an important moment to strengthen unity, honor the services of the nation's heroes, and further reinforce the commitment to serving society, the nation and the state.
The solemn flag-raising ceremony was held on Monday, August 17, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. Western Indonesia Time (WIB) at
Musara Alun Square in Blang Kolak I Village, Bebesen District.

Haili Yoga, M.Si., served as the ceremony inspector.
Aceh Tengah Police Chief AKBP Muhamad Taufiq, S.I.K., M.H., attended the ceremony alongside the Deputy Regent of Aceh Tengah, the Commander of Kodim 0106/Aceh Tengah, members of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), representatives of the regional administration, TNI and Polri personnel, veterans, community organizations, youth representatives and other invited guests.
The ceremony was marked by a strong sense of national awareness. Participants followed the entire proceedings in a disciplined and dignified manner, from the ceremonial honors and the report by the ceremony commander to the raising of the Red and White flag, the commemoration of the Proclamation, the reading of the Proclamation text, a moment of silence, prayers and the closing ceremonial honors.

"The anniversary of independence reminds all of us to strengthen unity, honor the services of the heroes, and reinforce our commitment to society, the nation and the state," AKBP Muhamad Taufiq said.
In his view, Independence Day provides all segments of society with an opportunity to renew the spirit of togetherness. According to Taufiq, the values of the heroes' struggle must be reflected in everyday life through positive contributions to the region and the community.
