DELI SERDANG | INDATANEWS.COM - The Jambore Anak for kindergarten (TK), Raudhatul Athfal (RA) and Early Childhood Education (PAUD) institutions in Bandar Khalipah Village, Percut Sei Tuan Subdistrict, Deli Serdang Regency, was held with great enthusiasm as part of the celebrations marking the 42nd National Children's Day. The event provided children with an opportunity to showcase their creativity, build confidence and strengthen ties among early childhood education institutions.
The three-day Jambore was held from August 6 to 8, 2026. A total of 24 education foundations at the TK, RA and
PAUD levels participated in the event.
Bandar Khalipah is home to 30 such educational institutions.
The highlight of the event took place on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the Kata Bima football field on Jalan Puskesmas, Dusun VII, Bandar Khalipah Village. The event began at 8:30 a.m. Western Indonesia Time (WIB) and ended at 10:30 a.m. Students, parents, teachers and local residents attended the event with great enthusiasm.
Among the guests in attendance were
Deli Serdang Regent Asri Ludin Tambunan; North Sumatra Provincial Legislative Council member from the Democratic Party faction, Ir. Hj. Anita Lubis;
Deli Serdang Legislative Council member from the Democratic Party faction, Gendro Yudo Buwono;
Deli Serdang Regional Secretary Dedy Maswardi; representatives of various government agencies; subdistrict heads; village heads and lurah; as well as representatives of the
Bandar Khalipah Village administration.
Also present were the chairwoman of the PAUD organization and chairwoman of the Deli Serdang TP PKK, Nya. Jelita Asri Ludin Tambunan; chairwoman of the Percut Sei Tuan Subdistrict TP PKK, Nya. Egie Kennedy Tarigan; chairwoman of the Bandar Khalipah Village TP PKK, Nya. Yanti Suparyo; and Percut Sei Tuan Subdistrict Head Muhammad Kennedy Tarigan, S.IP., M.Si., along with his team.
Village heads and lurah from across Percut Sei Tuan Subdistrict also attended the event and expressed their support for the program, which focuses on developing children's creativity and self-confidence.
The event began with an official opening by the master of ceremonies, followed by the singing of Indonesia's national anthem, "Indonesia Raya," and the Deli Serdang March. The arts studio of SMAN 2 Percut Sei Tuan then presented a welcoming dance. The program continued with a prayer led by Suyanto, head of Dusun XVII, Bandar Khalipah Village.
Jambore Provides Space for Children's Creativity
Bandar Khalipah Village Head Suparyo, S.H., expressed his gratitude and appreciation to all parties who supported the implementation of the Jambore Anak for TK, RA and PAUD institutions, particularly Percut Sei Tuan Subdistrict Head Muhammad Kennedy Tarigan, S.IP., M.Si.
"I would like to thank the head of Percut Sei Tuan Subdistrict, Mr. Muhammad Kennedy Tarigan, who has continuously provided both moral and material support, enabling this event to take place," Suparyo said.
According to Suparyo, the village administration organized the Jambore as a means of strengthening relations among TK, RA and PAUD institutions. At the same time, the event was intended to give children an opportunity to learn, be creative and further develop their confidence.
"The goal of this year's TK-RA-PAUD
Jambore Anak is to strengthen relations among TK, RA and
PAUD institutions. This event was based on the results of the Musrenbang. We proposed to the Bunda TK-RA-PAUD representatives throughout
Bandar Khalipah Village that the activities be held in the form of a
Jambore Anak. This was in line with the results of the discussions attended by representatives of
PAUD Bunda. We hope this event can become a major gathering for the people of
Bandar Khalipah Village," he explained.
The committee organized various competitions, including a drawing competition and a flag competition. The activities were funded through the village administration's budget as well as support from sponsors.
"We financed all of these activities through the village budget and also received support from sponsors. Alhamdulillah, I am grateful to the sponsors for their support. Insyaallah, we will continue this event next year because it is also in line with the wishes of the parents and
PAUD Bunda," he said.
Suparyo explained that the committee, together with PAUD Bunda, had begun preparations several days before the main event.
"Alhamdulillah, from Thursday to Friday, the committee and
PAUD Bunda worked together with everyone involved. Although we were quite tired, we managed to complete the preparations last night. Today, we can finally hold this major gathering together and experience it as one community," he said.
In addition to organizing the Jambore, Suparyo used the opportunity to convey several development needs in Bandar Khalipah Village to the Deli Serdang Regent. One of them concerned the Kata Bima football field, which, according to him, is now an asset of the village.
"As residents of
Bandar Khalipah, we informed the Regent that the
Kata Bima football field is now a village asset. We also have documentation proving the asset ownership. However, we have not yet reported it to the relevant asset management authority," he explained.
Suparyo hopes the Deli Serdang Regency Government will assist in improving the sports field facilities, including constructing a fence to separate the park from the football field. He also proposed financial assistance for the development of the football school (Sekolah Sepak Bola/SSB) that trains at the field.
"If possible, we hope for financial assistance for the children at the SSB (Sekolah Sepak Bola), because three SSBs regularly train here," he said.
On the occasion, Suparyo also reported on the demographic situation in Bandar Khalipah Village. He said the village had 10,800 households and a population of 52,000,864. The village consists of 17 dusun and 143 neighborhood units (RT). Meanwhile, the number of PAUD-aged children is approximately 1,050.
"I hope everyone can understand this situation. Let us work together to ensure that
Bandar Khalipah Village continues to develop in a better direction in the future," he said.

Regent Wants Jambore to Become a Model
Deli Serdang Regent Asri Ludin Tambunan praised the involvement of the village administration, teachers, parents and all other parties in the successful implementation of the TK-RA-PAUD Jambore Anak in Bandar Khalipah Village.
Asri Ludin particularly highlighted the enthusiasm of the parents, who accompanied their children throughout the event. In his view, parental support is an important part of the success of activities for children in early childhood education.
"I would like to thank the parents who came today with great enthusiasm to accompany their children. Even though the village head has shown extraordinary commitment, this event could not have taken place if the parents had not brought their children and prepared them as well as we see them today," the Regent said.
According to Asri Ludin, a Jambore is not merely about winning competitions. Such an event can instead nurture children's appreciation for culture, strengthen their confidence and provide them with positive experiences from an early age.
"This event is something very special. Essentially, parents want their children to love culture, develop confidence and have the courage to take part in positive activities. It is not merely about winning a competition," Asri Ludin said.
Asri Ludin explained that he deliberately attended the event in person and brought representatives from various government agencies with him. He wanted the officials in attendance to observe the implementation of the
Jambore Anak in
Bandar Khalipah Village and use the concept as a model for other areas.
"I deliberately came to Bandar Khalipah Village today and brought the entire administration with me, starting with the Regional Secretary, agency heads, the subdistrict head, the TP PKK chairwoman and her team, as well as all subdistrict heads from across Deli Serdang Regency. Why did I bring them all? Because I want them to use today's event as a model for their respective areas. Hopefully, this concept can eventually be implemented in the other 21 subdistricts," Asri Ludin said.
Asri Ludin also viewed the funding model, which involved cooperation between the village administration and sponsors, as an example that could be adopted for organizing community activities. In his view, the government should not have to rely solely on the regional budget for every event.
"This is exactly what should become a model, because we often rely entirely on the regional budget when organizing events. When there are no funds left or the funds have already been allocated in the budget, we do not know what other activities we can organize. This example should be adopted. There is still support from village funds, but sponsors were also approached, allowing the event to be successfully held," he explained.

Football Field Draws Regency Government's Attention
Responding to the
Bandar Khalipah Village Government's request to improve the
Kata Bima football field, the
Deli Serdang Regent expressed his support. He said the funding needed to improve the field could be included in discussions concerning the regional budget (APBD).
"For this football field, the necessary funds should be included in the APBD so that we can carry out the work this year. The field should become a place the community can be proud of and a gathering point where people can come together and feel proud to be part of the Bandar Khalipah Village community," he said.
Asri Ludin also delivered a message to all the children participating in the Jambore. He encouraged them to remain creative and have the courage to participate in various positive activities. He hoped the Jambore would be held again next year and made even more festive.
"To all the children: keep being creative. I hope this event can be held again at the same location next year, and that it will be even more festive than this year. I hope the children who are here today will keep this event as one of the most beautiful memories of their early childhood education years," Asri Ludin said.
At the end of the event, the committee presented gifts to the winners. RA Atoyibah was named the favorite, while RA Madina Safitri won first place in the parade. Following the presentation of the gifts, the committee invited all participants and distinguished guests to take a group photograph.
The entire TK-RA-PAUD Jambore Anak event in Bandar Khalipah Village proceeded safely and smoothly. After attending the event, Deli Serdang Regent Dr. H. Asri Ludin Tambunan, together with his delegation, continued his program by attending the opening of the traditional arts festival at Alun-Alun Park in Percut Sei Tuan Subdistrict, Saentis Village.

Jambore Anak is expected to become an annual event that not only strengthens ties among early childhood education institutions, but also serves as a platform for education, creativity, talent development and the cultivation of children's confidence from an early age.
