LABUHANBATU SELATAN | INDATANEWS.COM ~ The Labuhanbatu Selatan Regency government officially inaugurated 38 new structural officials on Monday, March 30, 2026.
The ceremony was led by Regent Fery Sahputra Simatupang, on the first floor of the Labusel Regent Office. This initiative forms part of the regional government's strategy to accelerate
bureaucratic reforms and enhance
public service quality.
"The positions you assume today are not just administrative roles but moral responsibilities that must be carried out with integrity, discipline, and commitment to the welfare of the citizens," emphasized Regent Fery.

The goals are to meet organizational needs, increase work efficiency, and provide officials (ASN) opportunities to develop their skills and professionalism.
He added that the new officials must respond to the digital era by offering innovative solutions that simplify citizens' lives. Key guidelines include loyalty, understanding of political mandates, innovation capacity, measurable productivity, and social sensitivity to community needs.
"The trust placed in you must be justified through performance, discipline, and accountability. Show that you are trustworthy and capable of supporting regional development," Regent Fery said.

New Officials Driving Regional DevelopmentAmong the 38 sworn-in officials are leaders, administrators, and supervisory officers. Notable appointments include Asmamu as Head of the Civil Registration Office, Ali Imran as Secretary of the Bappedalitbang Office, Syamsul as Head of the Waste and Hazardous Waste Management Division, and Miswarati as Head of Administration and Facilities in the Library and Archives Department.
