BANDA ACEH | INDATANEWS.COM - Chairman of the Banda Aceh City Council (DPRK), Irwansyah, ST, together with Partner Berbagi Aceh, organized a charitable event aimed at providing support for orphaned children. The activity was held on Friday, July 17, 2026, at the official residence of the DPRK chairman in Neusu Jaya, Banda Aceh.
Held in the atmosphere of a blessed Friday, the event brought together dozens of orphans and donors who have continuously supported the social programs initiated by
Partner Berbagi Aceh. In addition to the distribution of assistance, the event also featured an inspirational talk show with several speakers, including Ramadhania, an official from the Indonesian government ministry, Maulida MKM, a dentist, and Banda Aceh DPRK Chairman Irwansyah, ST.
Through the activity, Irwansyah encouraged the public to continue strengthening social responsibility and nurturing the spirit of sharing with others, especially toward community groups that require attention and assistance.
"Alhamdulillah, on this blessed Friday, I had the opportunity to welcome dozens of orphans at our official residence. This was a regular charitable activity for orphans organized by Partner Berbagi," Irwansyah said on Saturday, July 18, 2026.
Irwansyah explained that the charity program was also attended by many supporters who have consistently participated in various social initiatives, including assistance for orphans and support for underprivileged communities.
According to him, sharing not only provides benefits for those receiving assistance but also creates positive values for those who participate. Social activities can become a way to find inner peace when people face various challenges in life.
Irwansyah said his continuous involvement in social and charitable activities is driven by the belief that helping others can become a form of emotional and spiritual healing.
"Often, we find the peace that our hearts have been searching for when we help others. When we strengthen other people, we unconsciously heal ourselves as well," he said.
He added that the social initiative serves as a platform to share happiness with the community, particularly with orphans who need attention and care from various parties.
"I hope this activity will have a positive impact on the entire community. Hopefully, this support can continue to be carried out in the future," he stated.
Call for Greater Community Involvement
Irwansyah called on the people of Banda Aceh to continue developing a culture of sharing in everyday life. He emphasized that social awareness should become part of community habits in order to create an environment where people support one another.
He stressed that sharing is not limited only to financial or material donations. According to him, everyone can contribute in different ways according to their own abilities.
"Sharing is not only about financial assistance. There are many things we can share and many ways we can contribute," Irwansyah said.
Irwansyah explained that people with limited financial resources can also play a role in social activities. One way is by connecting people in need with donors or social organizations that are committed to humanitarian causes.
Social Contribution Goes Beyond Material Assistance
Irwansyah emphasized that social networks and the ability to build relationships with various parties are also important forms of contribution to charitable activities.
In his view, the community can provide valuable support through time, energy, and direct involvement in various social programs carried out by humanitarian organizations.
"Networks and connections are also part of a contribution. At the very least, we can dedicate our energy, take an active role, and spend our time supporting activities organized by social organizations - that itself is already an important contribution," Irwansyah concluded.
The charitable event organized by
Partner Berbagi Aceh in collaboration with the Chairman of
DPRK Banda Aceh is expected to continue in the future and benefit more people. Besides providing assistance to orphans, the initiative also serves as a reminder of the importance of solidarity, compassion, and mutual support within society.
