DELI SERDANG | INDATANEWS.COM - The Deli Serdang Regency Government has taken firm action following a provocative comment posted by the chairman of the Deli Serdang Community Early Warning Forum (Forum Kewaspadaan Dini Masyarakat/FKDM), Sularno, in a WhatsApp group.
Deli Serdang Regent Asri Ludin Tambunan dismissed
Sularno from his position as chairman of
FKDM Deli Serdang. The decision reflects the regional government's commitment to maintaining neutrality, ethical standards, and public trust in an institution that serves as a government partner.
The decision was made after the regional government assessed that the statement made by Sularno had the potential to undermine the integrity of governance and disrupt security and public order conditions in Deli Serdang.
"I will not tolerate any actions that damage the integrity of the government and affect regional stability," Asri Ludin said on Wednesday (July 15, 2026).
Government Emphasizes Ethics Among Partners
Asri Ludin emphasized that all institutions and individuals serving as partners of the Deli Serdang Government must maintain proper conduct and uphold high ethical standards in communication, both through direct interactions and social media platforms.
According to him, every statement made by individuals with institutional ties to the government must consider its potential impact on the wider community. Statements that could create divisions or trigger public unrest cannot be justified, as they may threaten regional stability.
The Deli Serdang Government has urged all government agencies and partners to continue prioritizing professionalism, integrity, and responsible communication in carrying out their respective duties and responsibilities.
The dismissal of the FKDM chairman demonstrates the regional government's determination to protect public confidence in an institution that plays an important role in detecting and preventing potential security issues and social conflicts in Deli Serdang at an early stage.
Nasib Solichin Appointed New FKDM Chairman
Following Sularno's dismissal, the Deli Serdang Government appointed Nasib Solichin as the new chairman of FKDM Deli Serdang.
The appointment was made based on the
Deli Serdang Regent's Decree Number 100.3.3.2/629/KPTS/2026. Through this decision, the regional government expects FKDM's duties and functions to continue smoothly while maintaining its strategic role in strengthening early public awareness.
FKDM serves as a community platform that provides early information regarding potential security, social, political, and public issues. Therefore, the regional government considers that the organization's leadership must be entrusted to an individual capable of maintaining effective public communication and promoting the values of social unity.
In addition to the leadership change within FKDM, the Head of the Deli Serdang National Unity and Politics Agency (Badan Kesatuan Bangsa dan Politik/Kesbangpol), Kurnia Boloni Sinaga, also announced his resignation from the position.
The resignation was submitted as a form of moral responsibility related to the incident involving an institution under the supervision of Kesbangpol Deli Serdang.
Government Ensures Continuity of Public Services
To ensure that national unity and political affairs continue to operate effectively, the Deli Serdang Government appointed Anwar Sadat Siregar as acting head of Kesbangpol.
The appointment was confirmed through an official letter assigning the acting head of Kesbangpol with Number 800.1.3.3/4177.
The Deli Serdang Government assured that public services and all government duties would continue to be carried out optimally despite changes within the organizational structure.
The regional government also emphasized that it would not provide any space for actions that could create unrest or disrupt harmony within society.
Moving forward, all government agencies and partners are expected to strengthen professionalism, uphold integrity, and ensure responsible communication in carrying out public responsibilities.
The Deli Serdang Government reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining regional stability by ensuring that every policy and decision remains focused on public interests, security, and social harmony.
