JAMBI | INDATANEWS.COM - The Jambi Regional Police is set to organize a large-scale recruitment and small business exhibition as part of the 80th anniversary celebration of Bhayangkara Day. The event, titled the Bhayangkara Presisi Job Fair and UMKM Exhibition 2026, will take place from June 22 to 24, 2026 at Lippo Plaza Jambi.
The three-day program brings together 102 companies and institutions across the province, offering more than 1,000 job vacancies for the public. The initiative is designed to directly connect job seekers with employers while helping ease regional employment pressures.
Major Recruitment Drive with Over 1,000 VacanciesThe Head of Human Resources Bureau of the Jambi Regional Police, Senior Commissioner Handoko, who also chairs the organizing committee, said the job fair was created as a concrete response to public demand for employment opportunities.
"We aim to bring job seekers and companies together in one platform. A total of 102 companies from various cities and regencies in Jambi will participate," Handoko stated.
The vacancies cover a wide range of education levels, from primary and secondary school graduates to diploma and university degree holders, ensuring broad community access to employment opportunities.
Digital, Paperless Application System IntroducedThis year's job fair adopts a fully digital, paperless recruitment system. Each participating company will provide a QR code that applicants can scan to submit their personal data and connect directly with HR representatives.
"The entire process is paperless. Applicants simply scan the barcode, fill in their information, and can immediately interact with company HR teams," Handoko explained.
Special attention is also given to inclusivity, with dedicated facilities and support provided for persons with disabilities. Several companies will also offer positions specifically designed for disabled applicants.
Boosting Local MSMEs and Economic GrowthAlongside the job fair, a micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME/UMKM) exhibition will showcase local products from various regions of Jambi. The exhibition aims to expand market reach for local entrepreneurs and strengthen regional economic development.

He also highlighted the importance of collaboration between law enforcement, businesses, and society to support sustainable regional growth.
