Focus on Safety Culture
Zone 1 General Manager Mefredi emphasized that safety culture remains the top priority in all operational activities.
"Operational safety during Eid al-Fitr depends not only on system readiness but also on the discipline of every individual in maintaining safe behavior," he said.
In addition, the company has tightened security measures across operational facilities by strictly controlling the movement of personnel, goods, and vehicles. Weather conditions are monitored daily in coordination with Indonesia's Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG).
Continuous monitoring in the areas of Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) is also being implemented, along with regular health checks for employees to ensure optimal performance during operations.
Strong Safety Performance
In 2025, PHR Zone 1 recorded an outstanding safety performance, achieving a Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) of 0.0, with zero Lost Time Injuries (LTI), and surpassing 20 million safe working hours.
These achievements provide a solid foundation for further strengthening safety standards, particularly during critical periods such as Eid al-Fitr.
Mefredi added that strict adherence to safety procedures is essential in sustaining national energy production.
"During Eid al-Fitr, we ensure that operations continue normally under intensive safety supervision. This is part of our contribution to maintaining the stability of the national energy supply," he stated. (IDNC)
