ACEH TENGAH | INDATANEWS.COM – The Aceh Tengah Police (Polres Aceh Tengah) organized a religious community service program at two mosques on Thursday, June 11, 2026, as part of a series of activities commemorating the 80th Bhayangkara Anniversary.
The initiative took place at
Al-Fitrah Mosque in Keramat Mupakat Village, Bebesen District, and Al-Ikhlas Mosque in Pinangan Village, Kebayakan District. In addition to cleaning the houses of worship, police personnel donated cleaning equipment and copies of the Holy Quran to support religious activities and improve worship facilities for local communities.
The program, which began at 9:00 a.m. local time, involved senior officers of the Aceh Tengah Police, personnel from several police units, and mosque administrators. Together, they cleaned prayer halls, ablution areas, sanitation facilities, courtyards, and surrounding mosque grounds.

Strengthening Community Ties Through Collective ActionThe community service activity at Al-Ikhlas Mosque was led by Head of Human Resources Commissioner Ahmad Yani, while Head of Planning Commissioner Junaidi supervised the program at
Al-Fitrah Mosque.
The presence of police officers was warmly welcomed by mosque administrators and local residents. Beyond creating a cleaner and more comfortable environment, the initiative also served as an opportunity to strengthen relationships between law enforcement officers and the community.
Participants worked side by side to clean facilities used daily by worshippers, reflecting the police institution's commitment not only to maintaining public security and order but also to supporting the social and religious well-being of the community.
Donations Support Mosque Maintenance and Religious ActivitiesAs part of the program, the Aceh Tengah Police distributed various cleaning supplies to both mosques, including trash bins, brooms, mops, and glass-cleaning equipment.
The police also donated several copies of the Holy Quran to be used for worship services and religious education programs conducted by the mosques.
According to mosque administrators, the assistance will help support routine maintenance efforts while contributing to a more conducive environment for religious activities.

Taufiq added that the Bhayangkara Anniversary serves not only as a moment to reflect on the police force's role in maintaining security and public order but also as an opportunity to demonstrate social responsibility through meaningful community outreach programs.
The event concluded safely and smoothly at approximately 10:30 a.m. local time.
