ACEH TENGAH | INDATANEWS.COM – The Aceh Tengah Police officially launched the construction of a livable house for an underprivileged elderly resident in Kampung Lenga, Bies District, as part of the 80th Bhayangkara Day 2026 commemorations.

Muhamad Taufiq personally led the groundbreaking ceremony for the new home of Saidah, 68, on Monday, May 25, 2026. The social assistance program aims to provide a safer and more decent living environment for low-income residents.
The event was attended by the Deputy Police Chief of Aceh Tengah, several senior police officials, Pegasing Police Sector Chief, representatives from the Bies District administration, community leaders of Kampung Lenga, police personnel, public figures, and invited guests.

Police Commitment to Social WelfareIn his remarks, AKBP Muhamad Taufiq emphasized that the housing project was more than a ceremonial activity. According to him, the initiative reflects the police institution's genuine concern and social responsibility toward vulnerable communities.

He expressed hope that the new house would ease the burden on the recipient and provide greater comfort, safety, and peace of mind for her family.
"May this house bring blessings, peace, and happiness to its residents," Taufiq added.

Muhamad Taufiq also stated that the 80th Bhayangkara Day should serve as an important moment for all police personnel to continuously improve the quality of service to the community, nation, and state.
He stressed that the police must remain close to the people and actively contribute solutions to social issues faced by the community.
