LABUHANBATU SELATAN | INDATANEWS.COM – The Deputy Regent of Labuhanbatu Selatan, Syahdian Purba Siboro, has officially inaugurated the Merah Putih Presisi Bridge in Bunut Pekan Village, Torgamba District. The reopening marks the full restoration of the previously damaged bridge, which had significantly disrupted local mobility and daily transportation.
The regional government, in collaboration with the police, private companies, and local communities, accelerated the repair and reconstruction of the bridge. The structure has once again become a vital transportation link for residents of Bunut Pekan and surrounding areas.
The restored infrastructure not only improves daily mobility but also enhances the distribution of agricultural products, strengthening economic activity in Torgamba District.

"This bridge is not only a physical connection between roads, but also a bridge of hope. It accelerates economic growth and makes daily life easier for the people," he said.
He also expressed appreciation for the strong collaboration between the local government, the Labuhanbatu Selatan Police, PT Asam Jawa, village authorities, and the community in completing the project.

Police and Private Sector SupportLabuhanbatu Selatan Police Chief AKBP Aditya S.P. Sembiring stated that the Presisi concept of the police extends beyond law enforcement to include social responsibility and community support.

PT Asam Jawa manager H. Ibnu Sahid reaffirmed the company's commitment to supporting regional social development programs.
Meanwhile, Acting Village Head of Bunut Pekan, Agus Perdamean Panjaitan, expressed gratitude for the long-awaited restoration of the bridge, which has significantly eased residents' daily activities. Local resident representative Mustakim Siregar also welcomed the improvement, particularly for transportation access during the rainy season and palm oil distribution.
Following the inauguration, the Deputy Regent, officials, and community members jointly inspected the bridge as part of the final evaluation process. The Merah Putih Presisi Bridge is now seen as a symbol of successful collaboration between government, police, private sector, and society in promoting sustainable regional development. (IDNC)
