LABUHANBATU SELATAN | INDATANEWS.COM – The Labuhanbatu Selatan Police Resort, together with key stakeholders, officially inaugurated the "Red-White Presisi Bridge" on Monday, May 18, 2026. The bridge connects Dusun Bunut Pekan in Bunut Village, Torgamba District, and is now considered a vital lifeline for the local community.
The inauguration ceremony was held in a warm and communal atmosphere, marked by gratitude and a strong sense of solidarity. The new infrastructure is expected to enhance regional connectivity, particularly by improving economic activities, access to education, and daily mobility for residents.
Infrastructure as a Driver of Local Development

South Labuhanbatu, Syahdian Purba Siboro;
Torgamba District Head, Boy Gusman Aidil Salam; representatives from PT Asam Jawa; local government officials; and community leaders. Residents also gathered in large numbers to witness the historic occasion.
Officials emphasized that the bridge represents a strategic development step aimed at accelerating rural progress through improved access and connectivity.

Previously, access to and from the area was frequently disrupted, especially during the rainy season and due to heavy plantation vehicles passing through.
With the completion of the bridge, residents now benefit from a safe and stable connection to farmland, schools, markets, and essential public services, significantly improving daily life and mobility.
Collaboration Between Government, Police, and Private Sector

Deputy Regent Syahdian Purba Siboro highlighted the broader economic impact of the infrastructure.

Police Promote "Presisi" Approach to Community DevelopmentSouth Labuhanbatu Police Chief, AKBP Aditya S.P. Sembiring, emphasized that the project is part of the Indonesian National Police's "Presisi" strategy, which focuses not only on law enforcement but also on social contribution and community development.

Community Welcomes Long-Awaited ImprovementLocal community representative Mustakim Siregar expressed gratitude for the long-awaited infrastructure improvement.
