ACEH TENGAH | INDATANEWS.COM – The Aceh Tengah Police continue to demonstrate their commitment to community welfare through a social outreach initiative held under the Jumat Berkah (Blessed Friday) and Jumat Berbagi (Sharing Friday) programs. The activity took place on Friday, May 8, 2026, at around 09:00 WIB in front of the Aceh Tengah Police Headquarters.
The program serves as a platform to reinforce the close relationship between law enforcement officers and the public, while also strengthening social cohesion within the jurisdiction of the Aceh Tengah Police.
Aceh Tengah Police Chief, AKBP Muhammad Taufiq, together with his personnel, directly distributed assistance packages containing basic necessities, financial aid, and nutritious meals. The beneficiaries included grave diggers from Bebesen Subdistrict, underprivileged residents, passing motorists, and sanitation workers.

AKBP Muhammad Taufiq emphasized that the Jumat Barokah initiative is a tangible expression of the police's care for the community, while also enhancing emotional bonds between officers and residents.
"Through this activity, we aim to be closer to the community, help those in need, and strengthen collaboration to maintain a safe and stable security situation in Aceh Tengah," he stated.

The assistance was handed directly to various groups in need as part of the police's ongoing social service efforts. The initiative reflects a broader commitment to ensuring that support reaches those who require it most.

Beyond distributing aid, the Police Chief also expressed deep appreciation for grave diggers who perform their duties with sincerity and dedication under the Islamic principle of fardhu kifayah—from washing and shrouding the deceased to funeral prayers and burial.
"The work of grave diggers is highly honorable. We deeply respect their dedication in supporting families during their most difficult moments," AKBP Muhammad Taufiq added.
He further expressed hope that the assistance provided would be beneficial for recipients and help strengthen social solidarity within the community.
