ACEH TENGAH | INDATANEWS.COM – The Aceh Tengah Police Chief, AKBP Muhamad Taufiq, has called on the public to strengthen family roles, use social media responsibly, and improve traffic discipline to maintain public security and order (Kamtibmas).
The appeal was delivered during the "Rabu Berkah" Safari Subuh program held on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at Az-Zikra Mosque in Lot Kala Village, Kebayakan District.
Family's Key Role in Preventing Juvenile Delinquency

He urged parents to closely monitor their children's activities, particularly their use of mobile phones and their social environment.
He stressed that such supervision is essential to protect children from negative influences and ensure their healthy development. At the same time, he encouraged all elements of society to help create a supportive environment to nurture a better young generation in Aceh Tengah.

The police chief also reminded residents to use smartphones and social media responsibly. He highlighted the importance of verifying information before sharing it to prevent the spread of misinformation or hoaxes that could disrupt public order.
"Be wise in using social media and do not spread information with unclear validity," he said.

He urged motorists to wear SNI-standard helmets or seat belts, avoid using mobile phones while driving, and obey traffic signs.
He also reminded the public to carry complete vehicle documents such as a driver's license (SIM) and vehicle registration (STNK), maintain appropriate speeds, stay alert while driving, and avoid parking on road shoulders to enhance
road safety.

The Safari Subuh event was attended by various regional stakeholders, including the Head of
Aceh Tengah Regency, the public prosecutor, the deputy police chief, the regional secretary, the rector of IAIN Takengon, as well as representatives of religious and community organizations and
Aceh Tengah Police personnel.
