Both infrastructure projects were implemented under the TNI Community Service Program (Bakti TNI). They are intended to improve public mobility while helping meet residents' need for
clean water. The projects also demonstrate cooperation between the military, regional government, and local communities in developing facilities aimed directly at addressing people's basic needs.
Lom Lom expressed his appreciation to the Indonesian Army (TNI Angkatan Darat) and President Prabowo Subianto for their attention and support for the people of Deli Serdang. He said both the bridge construction and the provision of a clean water source would deliver tangible benefits to residents.

New Bridge Improves Community Connectivity
The Perintis Suspension Bridge is 40 meters long and 1.2 meters wide. TNI personnel built the bridge together with local residents over a period of 35 days, reflecting the spirit of mutual assistance and cooperation.
The bridge connects Dusun I and Dusun II in Tumpatan Nibung Village with Wonosari Village. It replaces the previous access route, which could no longer be used properly by residents.
With the new bridge in place, residents now have easier access for their daily activities. The connection not only improves mobility but also helps people reach schools, plantations, trading areas, and various social facilities.
The bridge construction under the Bakti TNI program represents support for basic infrastructure needs in rural areas. Community involvement in the construction process also strengthens ties between local residents and TNI personnel.

Borewell to Serve 44 Families
TNI personnel are constructing the borewell together with local residents to meet the clean water needs of people in Emplasmen Kualanamu. The well is expected to provide water for 44 families.
The development of the water source is part of the
Bakti TNI program, which focuses on meeting the basic needs of communities. The
borewell is expected to provide residents who depend on it with easier and more adequate access to
clean water.
Commander of Military Command I/Bukit Barisan, Major General TNI Hendy Antariksa, said the TNI clean water program in North Sumatra had now reached 524 locations. More than 144,000 people, or approximately 38,000 families, have benefited from the program.
Specifically, the
borewell being constructed in Emplasmen Kualanamu Village is expected to serve 44 families.
"This program is part of our efforts to provide people with easier and more adequate access to clean water. We hope residents can feel its benefits directly," he said.
Hendy emphasized that the successful construction of the bridge and water infrastructure requires cooperation among various parties. Collaboration between the TNI, regional government, and local communities is a key factor in ensuring development programs are properly implemented and deliver benefits to the public.

Cooperation Strengthens Community Welfare
Deli Serdang Deputy Regent Lom Lom Suwondo emphasized that the regional government would continue strengthening its cooperation with the TNI in developing the region. The collaboration is expected to help provide access for residents, meet basic needs, and improve the welfare of the community.
The partnership is also important for accelerating the development of infrastructure that directly affects residents' daily lives. The Perintis Suspension Bridge in Tumpatan Nibung, for example, provides residents with an alternative route after the previously used accessway was no longer adequately passable.
Meanwhile, the construction of the borewell in Emplasmen Kualanamu supports the community's access to clean water. With an expected capacity to serve 44 families, the facility is intended to provide tangible benefits to residents living around the site.
Both programs demonstrate that infrastructure development is not solely focused on constructing physical facilities. It also centers on improving people's access to facilities that support their daily activities and meet their basic needs.
The Deli Serdang Regency Government hopes cooperation with the TNI can continue to expand so that various community needs can be addressed through targeted programs. Community participation in every development process is also essential to ensure the sustainability and benefits of the infrastructure provided.
